Working on this modern, Scandinavian build was extremely rewarding. We incorporated many custom elements including reeded wood island cladding and a hood enclosure. Adding in panelled appliances and full height quartz backsplash enhances the custom look, and creates a standout, stunning result!!!

Implementation Style
Our goal was to achieve a modern/streamlined look while incorporating organic textures and finishes. We accomplished this by using slab cabinet doors, and combined them with a warm and textured quartz. We created the custom reeded island backs and also the hood enclosure in our local cabinet facility. One of the challenges of this project was the overall length of the island (16 feet!!!). To avoid a seam in the quartz counters, we created an island with multiple levels and finishes, while still allowing for continuity and flow. The end result is warm and relaxing, and packs a punch with “WOW” factor!
