Blackstone Cabinetry Story
A note from Shannon Snyder, who founded Blackstone Cabinetry Inc. in 2014:
Starting a business is a scary and exciting endeavour, but I felt confident after having spent 12 years in the cabinet design industry that I was ready! The company was named “Blackstone Cabinetry” as an adage to my family farm name while growing up. My main focus was/is to provide clients with an innovative and quality design service. To back that up, I strive to align our company with quality manufacturers of products and materials, and a great design team – we are not satisfied until you are!!!
Since our induction, the world of cabinet design has changed dramatically. Given the endless possibilities, the popularity of home design shows, and home design apps, clients are often overwhelmed with the process. Seeing that our clients have much to navigate in the current design industry, we have focused on adding valued members to our office and design team. I am proud of what we have built, our office staff and designers have come together to create an aligned vision, and we are here to help you every step of the way!
We are proud to say that the majority of our business is referral based, valued builders/contractors or repeat customers. We have seen continued growth over the last few years, and hope to continue that trend with the addition of more product lines and materials. We are excited for what the future holds!!!!

Shannon Snyder
FOUNDER & CEO
Shannon graduated Conestoga College from their Business Management program. She was given an opportunity to begin a career in the Cabinet Design Industry in 2003, and has been lending her expertise to many clients for the past 19 years.
Shannon opened Blackstone Cabinetry Inc. in 2014, and has funneled her passion and knowledge of the industry into building the company’s reputation and client base over the years.
She loves a good challenge working within limited spaces, but has also had the opportunity to work on projects that have been quite extensive.
Although she has worked on many projects, her goal is for Blackstone Cabinetry Inc. to give you a unique space, that reflects you and your family’s tastes and lifestyles.
Erica Martin
SENIOR DESIGNER
Erica has been with Blackstone Cabinetry since 2015. She has a background in Studio of Arts, and a diploma in Interior Decorating.
Time management, spatial planning, and creative solutions are her specialties!
Erica’s favourite part of the job is building relationships with her clients and assisting them with the space they’re envisioning.
Alyssha Wiens
SENIOR DESIGNER AND ADMINISTRATION
Alyssha started at Blackstone Cabinetry in 2019. Alyssha has a background in Visual Merchandising, and her BA in Interior Design.
Spatial planning one of her favourite elements of design, and she view’s each project as a unique puzzle to solve for her client’s. She also loves helping clients with their selection choices, and seeing their dream space come to life!
